Notice for Travelers

As part of the Algerian authorities' efforts to provide appropriate conditions for welcoming members of the Algerian community traveling to Algeria for the 2025 summer season, the General Directorate of Customs has made available to our citizens, via its electronic portal, publications in Arabic, English, and French, relating to customs procedures that can be carried out via the new electronic platform namely, (ALCES):

- Declaring your currency and valuables;

- Obtaining a customs transit permit (TPD) for your vehicle when crossing land or sea borders;

As well as other services, available on the electronic portal of the new Algerian Customs Information System.

To access these services, you are required to create an electronic account by going to the following address: https://alces.douane.gov.dz

After completing your registration and obtaining your electronic account, you will be able to declare your currency and valuables, as well as apply for the customs transit permit (TPD) for your vehicle, remotely, from your home or any other location.
