Meeting between the Ambassador of Algeria and the Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee

The Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, Tran Quoc Cuong, receives H.E. Mr. Azeddine Bechka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria

This afternoon (September 19), Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, received H.E. Mr. Azeddine Bechka, Algerian Ambassador to Vietnam, and the delegation from the Algerian Embassy, ​​on the occasion of their participation in the Festival of the Quintessence of the Northwest - Dien Bien in 2025.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong expressed his pleasure in welcoming the Ambassador and his delegation for a mission to Dien Bien to participate in the Festival of the Quintessence of the Northwest 2025. He also presented to him the road named after the province of Batna (Algeria). He hopes to welcome more Algerian delegations in the coming years to exchange investment experiences, particularly from the province of Batna, to study and implement cooperation and investment activities in Dien Bien province, with a focus on tourism, education, health, science, and technology.

Ambassador Azeddine Bechka expressed his sincere thanks to Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong for the warm and cordial welcome he extended to him. He also shared his deep impressions of the locality and the people of Dien Bien, rich in historical, cultural, and heroic traditions. He affirmed that he will continue to promote its role as a bridge, thus contributing to the promotion of friendly cooperation and multifaceted exchanges between Algerian localities and Dien Bien province, particularly in areas where both parties possess potential and strengths.
